  1. I found it interesting how people believe something is beatiful if it is symmetrical. This relates to the Math in one way of knowing because it explains about proprtions, symmetry, and ratio.
    “Beauty is Mathematical”

  2. I think it’s interesting that ratio (math) has to do with beauty because the more your face is equally proportioned the more beautiful you are. This has to do with Perception because we are only looking at the surface area of her face, not her personality wise.

  3. It is interesting how a person’s figure or face can be solved and called beautiful/perfect by using math.
This math behind the beauty can be reasoned because people have different taste in different stuff. So, a person’s face who is not as beautiful might be beautiful to someone else.

  4. Something interesting to me was that beauty is based on mathematical reasoning.Such as having the same struture on the other side of the face.

  5. i found the informtion given, in a way, retorical. it states that in our eye symmimetrical things are beautiful i can understand how because i personally can not see the beauty in one whoms eyes are not even with each other

emotion is related in a way because it deals with a certain persons emotions and feelings to that thing and how the percieve it

  6. I think the article was interesting because it gave us the exact math behind what and why we define things as beautiful. This relates to emotion because beauty depends on a person’s perception and feelings.

  7. One thing that i found interesting was that in order to be beautiful a person’s face must be symmetrical. I found that this is interesting because it has to do with math, and I always thought that beautiful was being pretty. I think that reason relates to this because math has an explanation to a person’s beauty. It explained and showed an example of math and beauty.

  8. Something intersting was that there is such thing as a perfect face and the golden ratio relates to beauty. This relates to perception because beauty is percived through the eyes(most of the time) and it can be mathematically proven.

    Chai and Manuel
    per. 6

  9. one thing I found interesting about this is that physical attraction depends on a ratio.
this involves with perception because we use our eyes to see how a person looks like and then we use knowledge to see how pretty a person looks.

  10. I find that physical attraction depends on ratio is interesting. i find it interesting because i never really know that is true and know i learn something new. This relate to emotion because beauty makes people feel in love with you so thats why it relates to emotion

  11. This relates with the ways of knowing because you can use perception to make an official judgement on others. You can also use emotion to judge others and their beauty. you can use reason and logic to decide whats beautiful. you can use perception in many other ways also.

  12. What we found interesting was that people find proportional bodies more beautiful. It is interesting to us because we didn’t realize that we were attracted to proportional faces and bodies.
This relates to perception because we can see it with our own eyes and can judge it by our own eyes.

  13. 1) The golden Ratio is very interesting because it structures out our face and determines if we have beauty. It relates to perception. Perception deals with the five senses: see, hear, touch, smell, and taste. We use our sight to see how the golden Ratio’s idea of beauty.

  14. something i found interesting was the golden ratio mask, her baeuty was based on being proportinal. the math reasons her baeuty placing the mask over her face and everything is proportinal so that means she is beutiful.

  15. What I found interesting is that everything can be use in math, like the shape of a human face. It is interesting becuase not everyone knows it.

It relates to the Way of Knowing becuase sometimes math can make it seems that is is right but it can be wrong, it is the use of preception.

  16. I find it interesting that beauty is based on math rather than the old addage “beauty is in the eyes of teh behoder.” It proves a theory we had before to be false. Or something close to it. Yeah.
It relates to knowing as in you just know beauty when you see it based on proportion.

  17. We found lnteresting that physical attraction was based on the golden ratio. this relates to perception because we are more likely to be attracted to someone who has symmetrical features.

  18. It said that my EQ is high and average. Yes, there was differences between the two results. I agree with the conclusion from the first one, which is “What’s Your EQ?” because I have a higher emotional result. The results affect what we believe by trying to tell us to change and what we are strong on.

  19. What was interesting to me was how math is applied to beauty. With this mathetical reasonings of one’s beauty i liked how it shows that one’s beauty is consist of how symetrical one’s face is and the more symeyrical the face is the more attraction it’ll get.

  20. I found it interesting that we could use a golden ratio to find our own looks and that math could percept our image of who we are.

This relates to the Way of Knowing by puttng the way how we see things in our own eyes. Also how we start to understand another side of math.

  21. I think it’s super Juicy to see that people’s beauty is based on math. Who would’ve thought. I sure wouldn’t have. This article was intresting and it taught me something new. I’m totally going to to tell my mom.

  22. What’s your EQ? I got average intelligence.
    EQ Test. I got low.

There really was a difference between the two quizzes. I agree and disagree because it’s just a quiz and it’s not necessarily always true.

Emotions affect what we believe and the way we express ourselves toward people.

  23. I found this really different then what i was expecting. Math has to do with being beautiful having a well shaped face makes you perfect. But i believe that beauty comes from within, thats probaly why the ugly people dont have dates. O well this has to do with knowledge that it lets us know that math is not all about numbers.

  24. They said I’m great at controling my emotions. Rarely any difference.Yes, I agree with their results. It makes sense. Emotion influences our real life in many ways.

  25. 2) The EQ test said that I had a high emotion intellegence. I scored high in both of my tests. I don’t see any differences between them, some question were different though. I do agree with both of the test results. I agree because i find that most of the questions are true with me, and I do feel the way that I am. The tests says that I am able to express myself in most situations. Emotion affects the what we believe because, it depends on how we feel on a certain thing to believe it.

  26. In the discovery health eq i scored a 105. 105 supposedly means average and what I do is satisfactory however i have more room for potential. In the ask.com eq I scored high on the emotional intelligence, I do well in dealing with social or emotional conflicts, expressing my feelings, and dealing with emotional situations. Although I still have room for improvement. I agree with these results because it just depends on how I’m feeling and how my day was going. I can be good at expressing myself and being social but at the same time I can be ike every other person…not that it’s a bad thing. We can always apply our emotional intelligence in everday things but it can be both beneficial and it can hurt us as well.

  27. For the first test, I got a pretty good score where I knew how to deal with emotions with others. For the second test, I scored much lower, and it said that I could have problems dealing with relationship. I could be more prone to depression, guilt, and agressiveness.
I agree with the tests because they were pretty close on.
Emotions affect what we believe because we can be optimistic or pessmistic about something. If our emotions are negative, we believe in the negative side and vice versa.

  28. They say my score is higher than average I understand peoples feelings. the two test is different one talks about your emotion and one ask you what you should do in a situation. Hmmm these test I think are actually really cool becuase I belive its true.

  29. No, I don’t agree with its conclusions because I have an equal preference of both races. Perception affects what we believe because we base people on how they are seen.

  30. They say my score is higher than average I understand peoples feelings. the two test is different one talks about your emotion and one ask you what you should do in a situation. Hmmm these test I think are actually really dope becuase I belive its true.

  31. For the first test my result came out to be above average score on emotional intelligence and for my second test it came out to be 108. They both indicate that I’m quite good at dealing with social or emotional conflicts, expressing their feelings, and dealing with emotional situations. I do agree with the results because I love helping out my friends and I tend to look at things in a deeper way. Emotions can help us deal with situation of others and yourself. Emotions can also make us who we are. Like if we have problems we tend to get negative.

  32. The Emotional IQ test says:

“People with a better than average score on emotional intelligence tend to be good at interpreting, understanding, and acting upon emotions. They are usually quite good at dealing with social or emotional conflicts, expressing their feelings, and dealing with emotional situations. (http://psychology.about.com/library/quiz/bl_eq_quiz_results.htm?cor=72)”

“Your Emotional IQ is excellent – much higher than average. This means that, in general, you are able to express your feelings clearly in appropriate situations. You are optimistic and positive, and adapt well to changed circumstances. You deal effectively with stress, interact with others and communicate adequately. You are comfortable with yourself, and you know and appreciate your talents and strong points as well as your weaknesses. You are able to motivate yourself, find the energy and the strength necessary to complete what you need to do to reach your goals. You are one of the resilient people who bounce back after major drawbacks, survive hardship without bitterness, and still manage to empathize with others. These skills will certainly bring you long-term benefits such as stronger relationships, better health and personal happiness. (http://discoveryhealth.queendom.com/cgi-bin/tests/short_test.cgi)

I agree with my test because i do expression myself easily if i want to. if you wanna know what i mean well just read the explainations aboove because i believe im quite similar to the results.

  33. EQ test: i got an average above all, which its sound good enough.

Emotional EQ Test:I got an average score. I agreed with the test because I anm able to control my emotions but I could also gain some more confidence.

Emotion affects what we believe because it will affect the choices we make in life.

  34. What did they say about you? Were there any differences between the two results? Do you agree with their conclusions? Why or why not? What do the results say about how emotion affects what we believe?

i am smart, confident, butt have room to improve. second quiz called me average.i agree with the 1st but theres nothing average about me , ‘IM Jay Stone” our emotions effect every part of our life even the results of our quiz ,emotion can make or break you,

  35. EQ test: It says that i am above average which i was alike wow am i really above average on the EQ test.
Emotional EQ test: This test says that i am average, that i can control how i feel most of the time but i need to be more confident in myself.
I believe what this says i do not have much confidence and my communications with others, but i do know how to control my emotions on how i feel most of the time.
The emotion effect that we believe is may be created by our own self and how we exprees ourselves.

  36. They said that I was emotionally very intelligent. Yes the numbers were very different from each other one said that I had a 74 and on the second I had a 42. I kind of agree with the two tests. I am kind of an emotional intelligent person. The results say that emotions do have a lot to do with what we believe.

  37. EQ: The first quiz said I was above average.
The second quiz said I was right in the middle of the score.
The third quiz said I high had emotional intelligence.
I believe there is a big difference between the second quiz and the other two quizzes because the second quiz claims my ability isn’t very positive. I have more faith in the positive results because I think I have a positive outlook in my emotions. The results say that we could use emotions to our advantage for knowledge, but only if one can control it.

The math behind the beauty: I find it interesting howa a person is instantly considered beautiful if they are proportional. It’s interesting to me because if a person is ugly or beautiful is totally subjective to a person, ad it’s all opinions. It relates to the idea of perception because everybody sees something different. Their views changes, and as a result, they have their own opinion on it.

  38. What did they say about you?
I think it said that I understand people’s feelings and situations when it comes to emotions and relationships. I just need some time to do and finish my works in class, because I am more focused on feelings than work.
Were there any differences between the two results?
Well, the results I have were pretty much average which is near 50. So there wasn’t much differences between my scores.
Do you agree with their conclusions? Why or why not? What do the results say about how emotion affects what we believe?
Well yes I do, because emotions effects on how we do. For example, when I am bored, I cannot concentrate on my school work, that’s why sometimes I am lagging off at school, and now I don’t have much of a good grade for each class.

  39. My results say that I am average, low, and above average. My results are different in each quiz, but I do agree with their conclusions. I am at above and at average because I can socialize with others well, and I can become friends and get along with others, but I am at low because I have no self-confidence and tend to criticize myself and my abilities. It is hard for me to get back into the game after a hard fall. Our results say that our emotions have a significant effect on our beliefs. What we believe is moved and guided by our emotions. We believe them because we have our opinions on the given subject.

  40. The first quiz said I can interpret emotional situations well and I have an above average understanding of emotions which is true because I try to be helpful to others.

The second exam said basically the same thing and that I have high emotional intelligence.

The third test says that I will use my emotions to succeed and it will be my driving force to keep me going. I agree because I try to do the best that I can in anything

  41. They said that my emotion is above average, and between the three tests there are no differences. Yes I agree with the conclusion, because they said that I am good at dealing with emotional or social conflicts, and in reality I do deal with emotional or social conflicts well. The results says that our emotions effects our beliefs, because the way we feel about something makes us believe that it’s real or not, for example someone is afraid of spiders, and they see a hairball in the bath tube, and they freak out but then they realize that it’s just a hairball.

  42. For the first test, it said that my emotional intelligence is above average. For the second test, it said that i have a score of 68 which is higher than average. For the third test, it said that I have a high emotional intelligence of 46. There were more of similarities between these three results differences. The first test said that I am am good at interpreting, unstanding, and acting upon emotions. The second test said that I am able to express my feelings clearly in appropriate stiuations (which i do very often). It also says that I am talented and strong and that I am able to motivate myself. The thrid test said that I will become a star performer (which I am “really” interested in >____< ). It says I am doing well and har working. They all are similar because tell me that I am positive, talented, and intelligent. The difference is that only two test, the first and last one, said that I need areas to work on even if I am strong. They said that I still have room to improve and grow in. Yes, I agree with there conclusions because what they said are really what I am like. I do believe I am talented, smart, strong, and positive. I do agree that I have things I need to improve and grow in because I am still young and inexperienced. What the results say about how emotions affects what we believe is that emotions are what make us who we are and what we react to things by our emotions make us believe things in a certain way.

  43. The EQ tester says that my score was above average. It also says that im good at interpreting, understanding, and acting upon emotions. Also good at dealing with social or emotional conflicts. And good at dealing with emotional situations. The second EQ tester says that i am able to recognize and deal with my own emotions. Oh, and that I still have room to grow (: There weren’t really any difference between the two EQ tester. Do i agree? Yes, i agree…Because i can deal with my own emotions.

  44. My results are very great. i scored above average on all the quizzes i took. The quizzes said that i am emotionally intelligent and i am a driver to high performances. i agree with what it says about me.it says our emotions help us become smarter and i can learn alot from it.
